Why does a scan sometimes say "digging into this company"?
If nobody has ever scanned that company before, our researcher builds its dossier from public sources. That takes a few minutes. It only ever happens once per company — after that, everyone gets it instantly.
How are grades computed?
By a fixed, published rubric applied to sourced claims — never by AI judgment and never by hand. Evidence is tiered: a court verdict counts more than a settlement, which counts more than investigative reporting, which counts more than an allegation. The grade is our editorial opinion of that record.
What do free users get?
5 scans per week and 5 company lookups, on companies already in the record. Wallot+ ($4.99/month or $44.99/year) unlocks unlimited dossiers and 10 new-company digs a month.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by your app store, not by us:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Wallot+ → Cancel.
- Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Wallot+ → Cancel.
You keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
In the app: Account → Restore Purchases, signed into the same store account you purchased with.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: Account → Delete My Data, or see Delete my data.
